Platforms in partnership for research and training
The DP Divecosys (design of agro-ecological systems through the management of bio-aggressors and the use of organic residues) in Senegal aims, through research and teaching in partnership, to contribute to the emergence of intensive and sustainable agricultural systems based on an increased mobilization of services for the ecological regulation of bio-aggressors at different scales of action, from the cultivated field to the agricultural landscape.
The international joint laboratory "ecological intensification of cultivated soils in West Africa" (LMI IE Sol) federates a collective of researchers and teacher-researchers in Senegal and Burkina Faso around the knowledge of soil biofunctioning, with a view to designing sustainable strategies for the intensification of cropping systems in West Africa, based on ecological engineering approaches.
The "services and impacts of agricultural activities in tropical environments" (Siaam) partnership programming mechanism (DPP) aims to assess the impacts and ecosystem services, such as agricultural production, environmental services and energy production (biomass valorization), of agricultural activities at the territorial level. It provides a global rationale for the adaptation of agrosystems to global changes.
