the unit's scientific project
Based on three themes, the unit wants to propose solutions for recycling organic matter and waste (livestock effluents, biosolids from wastewater treatment, agro-industry effluents, green waste and household waste...) through farming practices with controlled agro-environmental risks.
The organization of the three themes of the unit structured to catalyze change. A continuum of experimental, modelling and co-construction approaches between science and society explores paths for sustainable territorial development. The three themes are projected over the "Roral" figure of the unit's positioning paper (Wassenaar et al. 2014).
