How we work

The unit meets every month for a unit council meeting to discuss major issues, project news, and news from each site, platform and field device. This council is open to all permanent and non-permanent members (PhD students, post-docs, trainees, temporary contracts) of the unit and is held by videoconference. 
About once a month, scientific events are also held by videoconference. The unit invites an external person to present its research work. In addition, PhD students and trainees are regularly invited to present the progress of their work.
A general assembly of the unit meets every two years alternately in Reunion Island and Montpellier.
